Fuel Rail: Installation

- Install new O-ring seals on the fuel injectors and install the fuel injectors onto the fuel rail.
- Install the fuel rail and fuel injectors as an assembly, and install the 4 bolts.
- Tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
- Connect the fuel supply tube spring lock coupling. For additional information, refer to FUEL SYSTEM - GENERAL INFORMATION article.
- Connect the 6 fuel injector electrical connectors.
- Install the upper intake manifold. For additional information, refer to ENGINE - 3.0L (2V) article.
- Connect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES article.
NOTE:
Lubricate the new O-ring seals with clean engine oil prior to installation.
