Suspension Design Height Setting

NOTE:
Make sure the vehicle is on a flat, level surface, such as a drive-on hoist.
- Jounce the vehicle's front and rear suspension to normalize the vehicle static ride height.
- Measure the ride height. For additional information, refer to Wheel Alignment Angles in this article.
- Adjust the ride height as follows:
- To increase the ride height, tighten the torsion bar adjusting bolt.
- To decrease the ride height, loosen the torsion bar adjusting bolt.
NOTE:
The torsion bar adjusting bolt is coated with a thread locking compound that wears off after disassembly. If the torsion bar system is ever disassembled or if the torsion bar adjusting bolt is ever removed, use a new torsion bar adjusting bolt when assembling.
