Cooling Fan - 2.3L

- Remove the air cleaner outlet pipe. For additional information, refer to INTAKE AIR DISTRIBUTION AND FILTERING article.
- Remove the accessory drive belt. For additional information, refer to ACCESSORY DRIVE article.
- Using the special tool to hold the fan pulley, loosen the cooling fan clutch nut.
- To install, tighten to 55 Nm (41 lb-ft).
- Remove the fan and clutch assembly.
- If necessary, remove the fan-to-fan clutch bolts and separate the fan from the fan clutch.
- To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
