Vehicles equipped with automatic transmission

  1. Install the transmission cooler line bracket and bolt.

    • Tighten to 11 Nm (8 lb-ft).
  2. Connect the knock sensor (KS) electrical connector.

  3. Connect the wire push pin retainers.

  4. Install the 4 torque converter nuts.

    • Tighten to 35 Nm (26 lb-ft).
    • Install the access plate.
  5. Connect the LH catalyst monitor sensor and transmission electrical connectors. Attach the wiring harness retainer.

  6. Connect the transmission electrical connectors. Attach the wiring harness retainer.

  7. Route the wiring harness over the transmission and position the wiring harness bracket. Install the nut and connect the RH catalyst monitor sensor.

    • Tighten to 30 Nm (22 lb-ft).
