Hydraulic Lash Adjuster: Installation

    NOTE: Lubricate the hydraulic lash adjusters and the hydraulic lash adjuster bores with clean engine oil prior to installation.
  1. Install the hydraulic lash adjusters.
  2. Install the hydraulic lash adjuster guide plates.
  3. Install the hydraulic lash adjuster guide plate retainer and the 2 bolts.
    • Tighten to 12 Nm (9 lb-ft).
  4. Install the lower intake manifold. For additional information, refer to Lower Intake Manifold  in this article.
