In-Vehicle Servicing: Flexplate: Installation

NOTE: Special bolts are used for the installation. Do not use standard bolts.
  1. Position the flexplate on the crankshaft and install the bolts.
    • Tighten the bolts in a criss-cross pattern.
    • Tighten to 80 Nm (59 lb-ft).
  2. Install the transmission. For additional information, refer to AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION - 5R44E AND 5R55E article.
