Cylinder Head: Disassembly

Remove the bolts, stud bolts, exhaust manifold and gasket.

- Discard the bolts, stud bolts and exhaust manifold gasket.
Check the exhaust manifold for warpage. For additional information, refer to ENGINE SYSTEM - GENERAL INFORMATION article.
Using the special tool, remove the valve spring retainer keys.

Remove the valve spring retainer and the valve spring.

Remove the valve stem seal.

Remove the valve.
