Crankshaft Rear Seal with Retainer Plate: Removal

  1. Remove the flywheel or flexplate. For additional information, refer to Flexplate  or Flywheel  in this article.
  2. Remove the oil pan. For additional information, refer to Oil Pan  in this article.
  3. Remove the bolts and the crankshaft rear seal and retainer plate as an assembly.
