Remove the seat on the side with the affected safety belt buckle. For additional information, refer to SEATING article.

NOTE: Note the safety belt buckle switch wire harness routing for installation.

Remove the nut and the safety belt buckle.
- To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
Install the seat on the side with the affected safety belt buckle. For additional information, refer to SEATING article.
Check the active restraint system for correct operation. For additional information, refer to Safety Belt System in the Diagnosis and Testing portion of this article.
