Disassembly And Assembly

Fig 1: Identifying Synchronizer

Disassemble the synchronizer.
- Remove one retaining spring.
- Flip the synchronizer over and remove the opposite retaining spring.
- Remove the 3 insert keys.
- Remove the sleeve.
Inspect all synchronizer components for wear and damage.
To assemble, reverse the disassembly procedure.
