- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING AND LIFTING article.
- Remove the air cleaner outlet pipe. For additional information, refer to INTAKE AIR DISTRIBUTION AND FILTERING article.
- Remove the radiator site shield.
- Remove the bolts and position the fan shroud on the fan.
- To install, tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
- Remove the LH engine support insulator through bolt.
- To install, tighten to 350 Nm (258 lb-ft).
- Remove the RH engine support insulator nuts and washer.
- To install, tighten to 250 Nm (184 lb-ft).
- Remove the A/C compressor and power steering pump bracket brace upper nut and install the special tool.
- To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
- Install the special tool and lift the engine approximately 75 mm (3 in).
CAUTION:
Make sure the RH engine support insulator mating surfaces and the washer mating surface are free of foreign material and corrosion before installation. Install a new washer.
NOTE:
Use a 10 mm (0.39 in) spring link to connect the Engine Lifting Bracket to the 3-Bar Engine Support.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
