Thermostat - 4.2L: Removal

- Drain the cooling system. For additional information, refer to Cooling System Draining, Filling and Bleeding in this article.
- Release the clamp and disconnect the upper radiator hose from the thermostat housing.
- Remove the bolts and the thermostat housing.
- Remove the gasket and the thermostat.
