Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the rear seat bolster. For additional information, refer to SEATING .
  2. Remove the retainers and position the fender splash shield aside.
  3. Disconnect the wheel speed sensor electrical connector.
  4. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
  5. Using a suitable tool, disconnect the grommet from the body.
    6. NOTE: It is not necessary to remove the harness routing brackets.
  6. Disconnect the wheel speed sensor harness from the brackets.
  7. Remove the wheel speed sensor bolt and the wheel speed sensor.
    • To install, tighten to 23 Nm (17 lb-ft).
  8. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
