Gearshift Lever: Removal

- Remove the gearshift knob.
- Remove the floor console finish panel.
- Remove the 2 rear side console bolts.
- Remove the 2 front console center bolts.
- Remove the screws securing the console to shift base.
- Remove the console.
- Disconnect the shift cable ends at the shift and select levers.
- Disconnect the gearshift cables from the gearshift lever base.
- Remove the 4 gearshift lever nuts.
- Remove the gearshift lever assembly.
CAUTION:
Carefully disconnect the cable from the shift lever base. Do not damage the shift cable retainers.
