Removal and Installation

- Remove the 2 bolts, disconnect the electrical connector and position the degas bottle aside.
- Tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb-in).
- Disconnect the 4 electrical connectors as follows:
- Camshaft position sensor (CMP)
- Heated oxygen sensor (HO2S)
- A/C pressure switch
- Cooling fan
- Release the 3 nuts and position aside the engine wiring harness.
- To install, tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb-in).
- Remove the engine accessory drive belt. For additional information, refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Using the special tool, remove the power steering pump pulley.
- To install reverse the removal procedure.
- Using the special tool, install the power steering pump pulley.
NOTE:
If the pulley hub has no marks or one mark, mark the pulley hub with paint before installing it. If the pulley hub has 2 marks, install a new pulley.
