The power seat is inoperative	Fuse. Seat control switch. Circuitry.	Vehicles without seat integrated restraints (SIR), GO to PINPOINT TEST A . Vehicles with SIR, GO to PINPOINT TEST B .
The power seat moves but is noisy	Seat track.	CHECK for loose fasteners, obstructions or signs of binding. TIGHTEN loose fasteners. REMOVE any obstructions. INSTALL new seat track if necessary.
The power seat moves but is loose	Fastening hardware. Seat track.	TIGHTEN all fastening hardware. INSTALL new seat track if necessary.
The power seat does not make full travel	Seat track obstructed. Seat track.	REMOVE the obstruction. INSTALL new seat track if necessary.
The power seat does not move horizontally/vertically - driver	Seat track. Circuitry.	Vehicles without SIR, GO to PINPOINT TEST C .
	Seat control switch.	Vehicles with SIR, GO to PINPOINT TEST D .
The power seat does not move horizontally/vertically - passenger	Seat track. Circuitry.	Vehicles without SIR, GO to PINPOINT TEST E .

The heated seat is inoperative	Fuse. Circuitry. Heated seat relay. Heated seat switch.	GO to PINPOINT TEST G .
The heated seat is inoperative - seat does not heat but the heated seat indicator illuminates when pressed	Circuitry. Heated seat switch. Seat cushion heater and bi-metallic thermostat. Seat back heater.	GO to PINPOINT TEST H .
Seat back may not latch/lock in the desired position	Seat back recliner latch.	MOVE the seat fully forward. PUSH the integrated head restraint fully rearward. ROTATE at recliner until the seat finds the new reset LOCK position. ADJUST the seat to the desired position. If the seat still does not latch in the desired position, INSTALL a new seat latch.
