Removal and Installation

CAUTION: When removing the steering wheel audio control switch, be careful not to damage the leather wrap tied around the switch.

NOTE: New wire ties need to be installed when this procedure is complete to secure the audio control switch harness.

Remove the driver air bag module. For additional information, refer to SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM .
Release the tabs and remove the steering wheel control switches.
- Cut the wire ties.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
