Pilot Bearing: Installation

- Using a soft-face hammer and the special tool, install the new input shaft pilot bearing.
- Using a soft-face hammer and a suitable driver, install the new input shaft pilot bearing.
5.4L and 6.8L engines
CAUTION:
Never install a used transmission input shaft pilot bearing.
NOTE:
The new transmission input shaft pilot bearing is pregreased and does not require additional lubrication.
6.0L engines
