Selector Lever Bezel: Removal

- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
- Place the floor shift selector lever in the (D) position.
- Gently pry up to remove the upper shift lever trim ring.
- Remove the top finish panel.
- Remove the set screw.
- Remove the knob and wiring by pulling straight up on the knob.
- Carefully pry up the 4 bezel clips and remove the bezel.
- Remove the gearshift bezel.
CAUTION:
Make sure that the plastic straw inside of the lever does not come out.
