Removal and Installation

    NOTE: The following steps must be followed to prevent the accumulator from charging and pressurizing the brake system.
  1. Disconnect the battery. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
  2. Remove the battery junction box (BJB) fuses 24 (50A) and 31 (50A).
  3. Remove the brake pads. For additional information, refer to BRAKE PADS - HYBRID .
  4. Remove the 2 brake caliper anchor plate bolts.
    • To install, tighten to 175 Nm (129 lb-ft).
  5. Remove the brake caliper anchor plate.
  6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
