Pinpoint Test B: DTC B1359 - Ignition Run/Acc Circuit Failure

- B1 CHECK THE IGNITION SWITCH
- Carry out the Ignition Switch Component Test. Refer to COMPONENT TESTING .
- Is the ignition switch OK?
Yes : GO to B2.
No : INSTALL a new ignition switch. REFER to IGNITION SWITCH . CLEAR the DTC. TEST the system for normal operation.
- B2 CHECK CIRCUIT 296 (WH/VT) FOR VOLTAGE
- Connect: Ignition Switch C250.
- Key in ACCESSORY position.
- Measure the voltage between the central junction box (CJB) fuse input side and ground as follows:FUSE CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
Fuse Circuit 11 (10A) 296 (WH/VT) 13 (10A) 296 (WH/VT) 15 (7.5A) 296 (WH/VT) 17 (10A) 296 (WH/VT) - Is the voltage greater than 10 volts?
Yes : REPAIR or INSTALL a new CJB. TEST the system for normal operation.
No : VERIFY CJB fuses 11 (10A), 13 (10A), 15 (7.5A) and 17 (10A) are OK. If OK, REPAIR the affected circuit(s) for an open. CLEAR the DTC. TEST the system for normal operation.
