P1A0A - IMMEDIATE SHUTDOWN SIGNAL

Description:  The TCM monitors 2 redundant immediate shutdown (ISDN) inputs from the TBCM. When the TCM detects one or both inputs out of the expected range this DTC is set.
Possible Causes:
  • Traction battery request for immediate shutdown.
  • Open or short to ground ISDN1 circuit.
  • Open or short ISDN2 circuit.
  • Damaged TBCM.
  • Damaged TCM.
Diagnostic Aids:  Monitor I_SDN_1 and I_SDN_2 PIDs for discharge state. Only 1 PID stating charge and the other discharge indicates an ISDN circuit problem. Both PIDs stating discharge indicates a TBCM request for immediate shutdown.
