Removal and Installation

- Remove the steering column shroud. For additional information, refer to STEERING COLUMN article.
- Disconnect the steering wheel rotation sensor electrical connector.
- Remove the 2 bolts and the steering wheel rotation sensor.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Using the scan tool, calibrate the new steering wheel rotation sensor to the ABS module. Follow the scan tool instructions for Interactive Vehicle Dynamics (IVD) Initialization.
