Pinpoint Test AG: DTC U0155:87: Notes

DTC U0155:87 (Lost Communication With Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) Control Module: No Sub Type Information) - sets continuous by the HCM if data messages (ignition switch status, headlamps on status) received from the IPC over the HS-CAN are missing. The Smart Junction Box (SJB) communicates the headlamps on status to the IPC over the Medium Speed Controller Area Network (MS-CAN). The IPC acts as a gateway module and relays the information through the High Speed Controller Area Network (HS-CAN) to the HCM.
