Removal and Installation

NOTE: If required, there is a special service replacement fastener available if a screw hole becomes stripped during installation. For additional information, refer to ROOF OPENING PANEL - EXPLODED VIEW .
  1. Position the roof opening panel glass to the full OPEN position.
  2. Remove the 2 air deflector-to-track screws and air deflector arm capture plate.
      NOTE: If the nut plate(s) becomes stripped during installation, a new nut plate can be installed. For additional information, refer to ROOF OPENING PANEL - EXPLODED VIEW .

    • To install, tighten to 2 Nm (18 lb-in).
  3. Remove the 6 air deflector catcher bracket screws.
    • To install, tighten to 2 Nm (18 lb-in).

  4. Remove the air deflector assembly.
  5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
