Removal and Installation

Front Door

NOTE: Front LH door shown, all other doors similar.

Disconnect the battery cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
Remove the door check arm-to-body bolt.
- To install, tighten to 20 Nm (177 lb-in).

NOTE: The electrical connector has a lever that must be disengaged before the connector can be removed from the body.

Disconnect the door-to-body electrical connector.
- Disengage the door-to-body electrical connector lever.
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the body.

Remove the 2 upper hinge-to-door bolts.
- To install, tighten to 30 Nm (22 lb-ft).

NOTE: The next step requires the assistance of another technician.

Remove the 2 lower hinge-to-door bolts.
- To install, tighten to 30 Nm (22 lb-ft).
- Remove the door.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Check the alignment of the door. For additional information, refer to DOOR ALIGNMENT - FRONT or DOOR ALIGNMENT - REAR .
