Removal and Installation

Front Door
NOTE:
Front LH door shown, front RH door similar.

NOTE:
Front LH door shown, all other doors similar.
- Disconnect the battery cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
- Remove the door check arm-to-body bolt.
- To install, tighten to 20 Nm (177 lb-in).
- Disconnect the door-to-body electrical connector.
- Disengage the door-to-body electrical connector lever.
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the body.
- Remove the 2 upper hinge-to-door bolts.
- To install, tighten to 30 Nm (22 lb-ft).
- Remove the 2 lower hinge-to-door bolts.
- To install, tighten to 30 Nm (22 lb-ft).
- Remove the door.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Check the alignment of the door. For additional information, refer to DOOR ALIGNMENT - FRONT or DOOR ALIGNMENT - REAR .
NOTE:
The electrical connector has a lever that must be disengaged before the connector can be removed from the body.
