Transmission Fluid Cooler: Removal

NOTE: The use of any transmission fluid other than what is recommended for this transaxle will cause transaxle damage.

With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING AND LIFTING .
Remove the front bumper cover. For additional information, refer to BUMPERS .
Disconnect the 2 transmission fluid cooler tube fasteners from the radiator support.

Remove the transmission fluid cooler tube secondary latches from the transmission fluid cooler.

Using the Transmission Cooler Line Disconnect Tool, disconnect the transmission fluid cooler tubes from the transmission fluid cooler.

Remove the 2 bolts and the 2 transmission fluid cooler support brackets.

Remove the transmission fluid cooler.
