Removal and Installation

- Remove the 2 screws and the steering column opening trim panel.
- Remove the 3 screws and the lower steering column shroud.
- Disconnect the electrical connector, and using a suitable tool (such as a dentist pick), release the tabs and remove the Passive Anti-Theft System (PATS) transceiver.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
NOTE:
Replacement of the PATS
transceiver does not require the PATS
keys to be programmed into the Instrument Cluster (IC) again.
