DTC B1602 (PATS Received Invalid Format Of Key-Code From Ignition Key Transponder) - sets only when a partial Passive Anti-Theft System (PATS) key was read.

This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:

PATS key
PATS transceiver
Instrument Cluster (IC)
