Removal and Installation

RH sensor 

  1. Remove the Air Cleaner (ACL) outlet pipe. For additional information, refer to INTAKE AIR DISTRIBUTION AND FILTERING .

    LH sensor 

  2. Remove the ACL assembly. For additional information, refer to INTAKE AIR DISTRIBUTION AND FILTERING .

    Both sensors 

  3. Disconnect the Camshaft Position (CMP) electrical connector.
  4. Remove the bolt and the CMP  sensor.
    • To install, tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
  5. NOTE: Lubricate the CMP  O-ring seal with clean engine oil.
  6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
