Removal and Installation

NOTE:
While repairing the power steering system, care should be taken to prevent the entry of foreign material or failure of the power steering components may result.
- Using a suitable suction device, remove the power steering fluid from the fluid reservoir.
- Remove the 2 power steering fluid reservoir nuts and lift the reservoir from the mounting studs.
- To install, tighten to 8 Nm (71 lb-in).
- Release the clamp and disconnect the return hose from the power steering fluid reservoir.
- Release the clamp and disconnect the power steering pump supply hose from the power steering fluid reservoir.
- Remove the reservoir.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
