Removal and Installation

NOTE:
While repairing the power steering system, care should be taken to prevent the entry of foreign material or failure of the power steering components may result.
- Using a suitable suction device, remove the power steering fluid from the reservoir.
- Remove the front bumper cover. For additional information, refer to BUMPERS .
- Release the clamps and disconnect the 2 return hoses from the power steering fluid cooler.
- Remove the power steering fluid cooler-to-subframe bolt.
- To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).
- Remove the 2 power steering fluid cooler nuts.
- To install, tighten to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
