Scuff Plate Trim Panel - Front: Removal

NOTE: To avoid any damage to the scuff plate trim panel, remove any retaining clips from the body prior to installation.

Remove the front door scuff plate trim panel by lifting straight up on the rear edge of the scuff plate trim panel to release the 2 lower retainers and then lift the scuff plate trim panel rearward.

NOTE: The front door scuff plate trim panel retaining clips are a one-time use clip.

Remove and discard the front door scuff plate trim panel retaining clips by releasing the retaining clip metal tabs.

NOTE: Place the new retaining clips onto the front door scuff plate trim panel prior to installation.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Install new retaining clips.
