Removal And Installation

  1. Release the rear seat cushion retainers.
    • Push the seat cushion downward and rearward to disengage the retainers under the front edge.

  3. If equipped, disconnect the electrical connectors.
    • Label the electrical connectors to aid installation.

  5. Remove the rear seat cushion.
  6. WARNING: The retaining wires in the rear seat cushion foam pad and frame, and rear seat backrest foam pad and frame must be fully seated in the retainer brackets to prevent the seat backrest and seat cushion from sliding forward in the event of a crash. Failure to follow these instructions may increases the risk of serious personal injury or death in a crash.
    NOTE: Make sure the safety belt webbing is not twisted and the safety belts and buckles are accessible to the occupants.
  7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
