Seat - Front: Installation

    NOTE: Make sure the safety belt webbing is not twisted and the safety belts and buckles are accessible to the occupants.
  1. Install the seat in the vehicle.
    • While installing, position the center safety belt buckle anchor to the rear inboard mounting area of the seat track and to the seat mounting stud.
  2. Connect the electrical connectors.

  4. Install the 2 front seat track-to-floor bolts.
    • Tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
  5. Install the 2 front seat track covers.
  6. Install the inboard seat track-to-floor nut.
    • Before installing the rear inboard nut, make sure the center seat safety belt buckle anchor is correctly positioned to the seat track and seat mounting stud.
    • Tighten to 80 Nm (59 lb-ft).
  7. Install the outboard seat track-to-floor nut.
    • Tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
  8. Install the 2 front seat track rear covers.
  9. Repower the SRS. For additional information, refer to GENERAL PROCEDURES article.
