Lumbar Motor: Installation

  1. Install the lumbar assembly.
    • Attach the lumbar assembly to the top of the backrest frame.
    • Attach the bottom of the lumbar assembly to the lower backrest frame retainer.
    • Route the cable and motor into position.
  2. Install the lumbar motor and 2 new rivets.
  3. Connect the lumbar motor electrical connector.
  4. NOTE: Note the alignment of the 2 side J-clips at the top of the seat to avoid bunching of the trim cover material.
  5. Attach the seat backrest trim cover J-clips.
    • Attach the 2 side J-clips first and then attach the lower J-clip.

  7. Install the seat. For additional information, refer to Seat - Front .
