Adjustable Pedal Indexing

NOTE: The adjustable pedal system must be indexed whenever the brake pedal assembly or the accelerator pedal assembly is repaired or component damage may occur.
    NOTE: Make sure the electrical connector is connected to the adjustable pedal motor.
  1. Disconnect the adjustable pedal motor drive cable from the brake pedal drive.

  3. Operate the accelerator pedal to the full rearward position.
  4. Connect the adjustable pedal motor drive cable to the adjustable brake pedal drive.

  6. Operate the adjustable pedal motor to align the adjustable brake pedal indexing marks.

  8. Disconnect the adjustable pedal motor drive cable from the adjustable brake pedal assembly.

  10. Operate the adjustable accelerator pedal to the full forward position.
  11. Connect the adjustable pedal motor drive cable to the adjustable brake pedal drive.

  13. Check that the brake and accelerator pedals can adjust at least 50 mm (1.96 in) from the base position.
