Remote Keyless Entry (RKE)

The RKE system consists of the following components:

The RKE transmitter initiates the following electronic system functions:

The RKE transmitter has a normal operating range of 10 m (33 ft).

The RKE transmitters can be programmed using a scan tool or by using the ignition lock cylinder method. Refer to Remote Keyless Entry Transmitter Programming  for programming information.
