Unlocking the Doors with the Keyless Entry Keypad System

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2010 Mercury Mariner and 2010 Ford Escape. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

To unlock the driver door (stepped unlock has to be enabled), enter either the factory set code or a personal code; each digit must be pressed within 5 seconds of the prior digit. If the stepped unlock is disabled, all of the doors will unlock upon entry of the factory set or personal code. Refer to STEPPED UNLOCK PROGRAMMING  for programming information.

To unlock all doors, enter either the factory set code or a personal code (driver door unlocks) and press the 3/4 button within 5 seconds when the stepped unlock is enabled. If the stepped unlock is disabled, all the doors will unlock upon the entry of the factory set or personal code.
