Output Shaft Seal: Removal

NOTE: This procedure applies to vehicles equipped with automatic transaxles.
  1. Remove the Power Transfer Unit (PTU) rear output shaft flange. For additional information, refer to OUTPUT FLANGE .
  2. Remove the deflector.
  3. Using a suitable tool, remove the PTU  output shaft oil seal.
