Instrument Cluster (IC): Removal

NOTE:
If installing a new Instrument Cluster (IC), all vehicle keys are erased during the parameter reset procedure. Verify at least 2 of the vehicle keys are available prior to carrying out this procedure.
- If installing a new IC , upload the module configuration information to the scan tool. For additional information, refer to MODULE CONFIGURATION .
- Lower the tilt steering column to the lowest position.
- Pull the IC
finish panel straight out to release the retainer clips and remove the finish panel.
- Disconnect the instrument panel dimmer switch electrical connector and the ambient air temperature sensor (if equipped).
- Remove the 4 IC
screws and the IC
.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
