Removal and Installation

- Remove the exhaust Y-pipe. For additional information, refer to EXHAUST Y-PIPE - 3.0L .
- Disconnect the RH Catalyst Monitor Sensor (CMS) electrical connector.
- Remove and discard the 3 RH catalytic converter nuts and remove the converter.
- Discard the RH catalytic converter manifold gasket.
- To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Install a new gasket and nuts.
