Brake Booster (Hybrid Vehicles)

- Inspect the brake booster for excessive corrosion or damage. Inspect the vacuum hoses for leaks and kinks.
- Install a new brake booster if signs of excessive corrosion or damage is found. For additional information, refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Repair or replace vacuum hoses as necessary.
- Check all electrical connections by wiggling connectors and flexing the wire harnesses.
- Repair the connector, terminals or wire harness as needed.
- Retrieve any ABS module DTCs. For additional information, refer to DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING .
