- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
- Remove the drain plug and drain the fluid.
- Install a new washer and the drain plug.
- Tighten to 49 Nm (36 lb-ft).
- Remove the fill plug.NOTE: Prior to removal, clean the area of the fill plug.
- Fill the transaxle with the recommended fluid.NOTE: Do not overfill the transaxle. This may result in increased operating temperature or cause transaxle fluid to be forced out of the case.PART NUMBER REFERENCE TABLE
Item Part Number Description 1 - Correct level 2 - Low level - Install a new washer and fill plug.
- Tighten to 49 Nm (36 lb-ft).
