P1A05 - Desired Engine Speed Signal

P1A05 - DESIRED ENGINE SPEED SIGNAL

Description:  The transaxle control module (TCM) continuously monitors the controller area network (CAN) for a desired engine speed message from the powertrain control module (PCM). This DTC is set when the desired engine speed is not within the expected range.
Possible Causes: 
  • Damaged PCM
  • Damaged TCM
Diagnostic Aids: 
Application  Key On Engine Off  Key On Engine Running  Continuous Memory 
All GO to PINPOINT TEST TV . - GO to PINPOINT TEST TV .
