Front Door Window Glass Adjustment

  1. Remove the front door trim panel. For additional information, refer to INTERIOR TRIM & ORNAMENTATION article.
  2. Position the watershield aside.
  3. Connect the window control switch electrical connectors.

  5. Turn the ignition key to the ON position.
  6. Partially lower the door glass.
  7. Loosen the top regulator nuts a minimum of 3 full threads.

  9. Loosen the 2 front door glass top run bolts a minimum of 3 full turns.

  11. Cycle the glass to the full down position.
  12. Cycle the glass to the full up position.
  13. Inspect the window regulator stud location in the slots on the door inner sheet metal panel and make sure the regulator studs are located at the center of the slots.
  14. With the regulator studs at the center of the slots, tighten the front door window regulator nuts to 12 Nm (9 lb-ft).

  16. Tighten the front door glass run channel bolts to 12 Nm (9 lb-ft).

  18. Cycle the window glass to verify the window functions correctly.
  19. Turn the ignition key to the OFF position.
  20. Disconnect the window control switch electrical connectors.
  21. Reposition the watershield.
  22. Install the front door panel. For additional information, refer to INTERIOR TRIM & ORNAMENTATION article.
