Camshaft Roller Follower: Installation

  1. Using the Valve Spring Compressor, compress the valve spring and install the camshaft roller followers.

  2. Remove the Valve Spring Compressor from between the valve spring.

  3. Install the valve covers. For additional information, refer to Valve Cover - RH  or Valve Cover - LH .
    4. WARNING: If the vehicle is equipped with a fire suppression system, repower the system. For important safety warnings and procedures, refer to FIRE SUPPRESSION SYSTEM article. Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious personal injury.
  4. If equipped with fire suppression system, repower the system.
