Digital Transmission Range (TR) Sensor: Removal

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING AND LIFTING .
  2. WARNING: Secure the assembly to the jack. Avoid any obstructions while lowering and raising the jack. Contact with obstructions may cause the assembly to fall off the jack, which may result in serious personal injury.
  3. Using a suitable transmission jack, support the transmission.
  4. Remove the transmission crossmember-to-floor pan screws and lower the transmission enough to gain access to the digital transmission range (TR) sensor.

  6. Disconnect the digital TR sensor connector.

  8. Disconnect the transmission selector lever cable from the manual control lever.

  10. Remove the digital TR sensor screws and remove the digital TR sensor.
