Wheel and Tire: Removal

- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING AND LIFTING .
- If equipped, remove the center cap.
- Remove the wheel nuts and the wheel and tire assembly.
NOTE:
Do not use heat to loosen a seized wheel nut. Heat can damage the wheel and wheel bearings.

Place the center cap face up after removal to avoid damage.
