Thermostat and Thermostat Housing - Exploded View: Thermostat: Removal

- Remove the thermostat housing. For additional information, refer to THERMOSTAT HOUSING and THERMOSTAT AND THERMOSTAT HOUSING - EXPLODED VIEW .
- Remove the 3 thermostat housing bolts and separate the upper and lower thermostat housing.
- Remove the thermostat.
- Remove the O-ring seal and discard.
- Remove the thermostat.
CAUTION:
The thermostat is aligned to the marks inside the upper thermostat housing and must be returned to the original location.
